One of the most wanted suspects in Rwanda’s 1994 genocide has pleaded not guilty to crimes against humanity.
The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda has charged Gre-goire Ndahimana with the deaths of about two-thousand Tutsis.
Most died when bulldozers knocked down a church where they sought refuge in the western Rwandan town of Kibuye.
Ndahimana was on the run for 15 years before he was captured in August in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A date for Nda-himana’s trial will be set later with judges currently presiding over nine and three suspects still awaiting the start of theirs.
